Chapter 45. Stop Calling Michelle Your Wife

“Madison, Ezrah just left my house. He knows the truth and might confront you about it tomorrow.” Michelle thought it wise to warn Madison since she had denied knowing her at the premiere.

Ezrah was too smart not to connect the dots. “Don’t lie to him, and if he fires you, I will create a position for you,” she said seriously.

Having everything planned, she was not going to let Madison’s work suffer. Madison, who was still avoiding Phanuel and in a sour mood, forced a smile to hide her pain.

“Michelle, thank you for letting me know, but don’t worry. He won’t be able to fire me. I hope he didn’t cause you trouble.” Madison was most certain about that as Ezrah would not be able to work with just anybody.

His temperament made it difficult for anyone to satisfy his work ethics. He was also sensible enough not to allow his personal matters to affect their work relationship.
