Chapter 60. You Love Zora, Ezrah, Deny It

Knowing that Ezrah was still in love with Michelle, he termed it that way before pulling River from the floor.

Dragging him out of the stall, Lake smashed his head against the wash hand basin. River was seeing stars and the pain was unbearable. Blood gushed out from the wound it created.

“You should be glad it wasn’t my best friend who caught you,” Lake threw him on the floor and the punches were just the way he remembered them.

Over decades ago, a group of girls had gang beaten his sister, Margo. When Lake went to teach them a lesson, he was overpowered by their brothers and boyfriends.
