Chapter 69. I Want to Sleep

Madison wanted to sneer, but there was no time to joke around. She quickly got to the point.

“Lake, is Ezrah there? His parents, brothers, and Piper’s parents are all here.”

At the Chapman’s mansion, Lake regretted allowing Ezrah to drink so much the night before. It was so bad that he had to take Ezrah with him and not to his mansion.

“Oh, shit. He drank so much last night and was continuously spouting nonsense. I will pass the information to him.”

Lake ended the call before tapping on the man sleeping beside him. They both had not slept early, but he had no choice.

“Ezrah, wake up.”

Ezrah did not wake up but was muttering a few words. “Zora, I won’t sign these papers. Please come back to me.” His eyes were closed the whole time.

Lake shook his head, wondering how long Ezrah had been having these sleep disorders. Nevertheless, he shook Ezrah a little violently.

“Ezrah, there is a problem at the office, and you are needed there.”
