On the ride to Royal Glistening Hospital, the pot-bellied cab driver couldn’t keep his thoughts and gazes at bay. He kept stealing glances at Lucien through the rearview mirror and his thoughts wandered back to the scene he had seen before they took off. Throughout the ride, it felt like a dream to him.
