"Yes, I did it! I did it! Yes!"

Scarlet had not heard those words for several minutes now, but they linger in her mind.

Richard said those words after Jack left, but before she could ask what they meant, he walked out on her.

Since he left with that mischievous grin on his face, she has been thinking—really thinking about what made him say those words and why there was such a grin on his face when he walked out.

As she sits on one of the couches in the private room clad in a thong and bra, she has been trying to compare things in a bid to get meaning for his statement but she has been coming out futile.

Her brain is blank. She is blank.

However, thinking about Richard’s words is not the only thing in her mind right now, she is also concerned about Jack.

She might not like him that much to be in a relationship with him but she does care about him. She has known him for a long time and at least has a normal human likeness for him.
