Upon reaching the outside area, Lava guided herself down the valley and over a bend. She snatched a dagger from her belt and dragged herself into a small fissure that opened up to a secret path that the others were unaware of. She was one of the toughest witches in the coven, and she was well-versed in the mysteries of the region that were not widely known.
Lava made her way out of the little passage and into the brisk air of the ravine, which was illuminated by the rising sun. She began her ascent in the direction of the valley. With her black clock facing the increasingly brilliant woodland, she drew her gaze away from the hamlet below. The woods, on the other hand, were full of dangerous creatures and evil spirits. In her heart, she knew she would not be able to live another day or even another night there, and she was certain they would find her in a few hours.
