Chapter 43. My Father
Kate’s POV
This was a trip I regretted embarking on. I was here to find my Hero but it seems I came to fall in trouble rather.
“What is wrong with you?” I asked the man who said he was my Hero, “Why did you lie to me?” I angrily asked him.
“Shut up, I can’t be your lost boyfriend. I am not your hero nor have I heard of a person by that name.” he walked out, after receiving an alert on his phone, dropping mine on a box that he was standing behind.
The place looked like a warehouse. I was tied up to one old forklift. Rusted cars, parts of machines, and boxes scattered all over the place and as dusty as shit! I could barely inhale and exhale, but I contrived little by little.
“What do you want from me??” I asked the remaining bodyguards who stood around me, but none of them answered as if they didn’t speak English, “Get me some food, I am fucking hungry. Is this how you treat your dogs?” I inquired.
