Zara’s POV

There is no point in our marriage. I still love Lucas very much, and I know I can't just erase him from my heart and life. But I have to move on; sacrifice is essential so that we can finally free each other.

With the help of my friends Antoinette and Nick, together with my mom and grandfather, I was able to carry my things. That's just a few. Even my son agreed with it. We need to heal our wounds. Or we'll hang on to it for the rest of our lives. And I chose the better decision for me and for us.

Nick owns a condominium. My son and I went there first since Nick doesn't stay there. He is often at his parents' house or out of town.
