Chapter 21

Scarlet's POV

"Because this place belongs to me. It would have been better if I had asked you about it." When the person in the cave approaches, I am forced to run.

I inhale deeply and glance around to see who is saying... I didn't mind since he was lighted a few seconds later by a weak light streaming in from the outside.

"Do you belong to them?" I couldn't stop myself from mumbling. The guy in front of me has long, flowing hair that falls over his face. Yet since his physique was too large for a normal person, I concluded he was a wolf.

"Aw-woo!!!"

As the wolf howled again outside, I stopped moving out of dread. I have no clue where I'm heading since if I step outside, I'll be killed by the pack. But if I remain here... I'm not sure I can trust the guy in front of me.

"Is one of them one of them? Do you mean the boisterous mob outside?" The guy responded by twisting his side lips.

I didn't say anything, but as I saw the man start to move,
