Chapter 30

"Am I having yet another dream?" Scarlet grumbled to herself as she saw the familiar spot. It was the same house she had seen in her previous dream.

"I'm glad to see you're still alive..."

[A voice sounded from behind Scarlet, causing her to whirl.]

"You really are..." Scarlet shook her head in disbelief. She can't go wrong since she's already engraved the woman on her mind.

The woman smiled as she walked up to the garden chair. "It seems you have survived... "I'm relieved."

"Do you have any idea who I am?" Perhaps... are you my mother?" Scarlet asked, hesitantly. She investigated the woman's replies but discovered nothing.

She confused the lady for her mother the last time she saw her. But who is she if not her mother?

"It's been a few days since you used your ability, but I don't see any improvement in you," the woman continued, her gaze fixed on Scarlet.

Scarlet clenched her fists as she fixed her gaze on the captivating lady. "How
