Scarlet's POV

"I don't understand... In your story, that creature never claims a man! She kills or repels everyone she encounters! But why does she keep Thunder? She even interferes with his memory and feelings! " I roared in disbelief after Alejandro finished his story. Alejandro shook his head. "I honestly don't know... Maybe she found Thunder special," he added and signed.

I clenched my fists as I sat down dejectedly. "I don't believe in immortality! There is a way to overcome this fairy, and I will find that way! " I said after a long silence.

Alejandro and I continued reading until we found a record about the fairy. My heart immediately revived when I read that our new enemy is not immortal.
