Chapter 104. Final Verdict
Instead of sleeping in the room that night, I stayed in my old room. I was hurt by what he said, thinking that he was the only one going through hard after the war.
Being back in my old room brought back a lot of memories. My painting materials were still there, and everything was left untouched.
I sat on my painting stool and took out a blank canvas. I drew the first thing that my eyes landed on - the moon.
One of the things that had always mesmerized me was the moon. The way it changed colors and shapes was more than enough to have one hooked.
I was halfway finished with the painting when I started feeling tired. Instead of finishing the painting, I put the paints and the brush away.
After washing up and changing into new pajamas, I went straight to bed.
Unfortunately, it was one of those days where I had nightmares of the past.
