Chapter 19. Want to Do It Willingly
Adolphus motioned his hand in the air, gesturing for the servant to leave. He saw Iris’ nose and cheeks were red because she cried profusely after he raised his voice at her.
“Take a seat,” Adolphus said.
Iris stepped up and sat on the vintage-style sofa chair on the left of the couch. Adolphus picked up the jar and filled the glass with water. He rose to his feet and handed it to Iris. She first refused, but on his insistence, she took the water glass from him.
However, she didn’t drink water from it. Adolphus told her to drink the water. Iris brought the glass to her lips and drank the water. She put it down on the table before her.
“Why did the Master call me? Does he want me to strip for him? As a slave, I must do that, right? Else, I may lose my life,” Iris stated. It amused Adolphus that she wasn’t a bit scared of him. Also, it irked him that she again took the wrong meaning of his words.
“If I have to strip any woman, then it will never be you,”
