Chapter 29

Aiden moved from his place as soon as his master disappeared. Using his left thumb and the back of his left hand, he wiped away the remaining blood on the corner of his lips and his bleeding nose.

He picked up his backpack, which had fallen due to Ashley's blow while patting his clothes off the dust that had stuck to it.

He closed his eyes, enduring the pain that enveloped his entire body due to his master's merciless blow.

“Sawyer and I are like brothers. He's like my own little brother. Are you crazy, thinking I would date Sawyer?”

“Just the thought of it makes me shudder. He's just my little brother, nothing more than that."

He couldn't stop feeling happy. All the anxiety that had enveloped his mind and heart for a month disappeared instantly. He couldn't stop himself from continuing to smile.

All the pain Ashley gave him was nothing compared to the cute expression his master had shown earlier.
