Aiden responded with a faint smile, accepted all the gifts from the students, and put them in his backpack.
To be honest, he didn't pay attention to Michael Raymond at all once he took over the slave position from that lousy man.
He didn't even remember the student.
"What's wrong with him?" Aiden asked, pretending to be curious. His gaze followed the direction the students were looking.
"Arrogant! "You know, after you volunteered to be Ashley's slave, he felt like he was the most handsome man and started annoying the female students around him," a female student also snorted in annoyance. “Last week I heard he insulted you, you know?”
He shook his head slightly, giving the student a chance to continue what she was saying. He was a little interested—just a little.
Because, from the start, he already knew the true nature of people like Michael Raymond. Such people will not be grateful to people who have helped them.
