" I know you won't like what I'm going to say," Garfield asked, looking worried, "but isn't your punishment too much?"

"It was his fault for interrupting you first, so I don't see the problem."

Ashley looked at Aiden who was standing in the designated spot. Aiden's expression looked like a sad puppy because he had made a big mistake.

But it seemed that the punishment he gave Aiden and what he just said didn't succeed in calming Garfield's heart.

Ashley combed his hair using his left hand's fingers as he took a deep breath.

"Relax. I ask him to stand there not for the actual punishment."

"So, what for?"

Ashley stared at Aiden for a few moments, then turned to Garfield right after Aiden smiled at him.

"I don't know why. But I sense hatred in Aiden when you started telling me about the earlier attack and Schmidt clan," Ashley said again. "That's why I need to do it. I don't want him to get involved with werewolf things."
