Chapter 109

Flashback 

Xavier

I sat in my office and did all the paperwork that accumulated over time. That was the hardest part of my job as Alpha, but it had to be done.

Xander said, "I'm kind of nervous. Is it just me?"

I had already noticed his restlessness. I could guess what it was about, which is why I didn't bring it up. His nervousness was completely pointless and misplaced.

Annoyed, I replied: "Yes, it's only you nervous and now pull yourself together. I have to work, if you distract me it will take even longer."

As of today, this house had one more resident, but that didn't mean he had to freak out.

Strangely often we will not see this woman. This house was huge. The probability that we often ran into her was low.

Xander sighed and said, " Unless she's one of those women who want power. Then she'll come to see us."

"Xander, that's why we're taking a female from another pack. My bad reputation should intimidate her. She may co
