Chapter 93

When we left our room I was very excited. Anything could be planned. Since it was a surprise, I wasn't told anything. Unfortunately, I didn't get any notification. But I didn't give up that easily and would pester Xavier until we reached our goal.

Xavier took my hand and I jumped a little for joy. He laughed at that and when we got to the stairs I stopped hopping.

I looked up at Xavier and asked, "What exactly is planned?" "Layla, you can ask me ten more times, but you won't get an answer." I sighed and looked ahead again. It was worth the try for me. It's a wonder he wasn't annoyed by my curiosity.
