Chapter 157. One Day

DANTE’S POV

It has been a week since we got Adeline back. She hasn’t left her room. The only people she will see are Liam and Naomi. She doesn’t want to talk to me. Liam told her what I would do to Adrian and Veronica. After what happened with Arthur, she said she didn’t want to have anything to do with it. She said she doesn’t want to relive the horrors that she saw in erotica by looking at Adrian and Veronica.

I completely understand her. She killed someone in a brutal way, and she probably feels disgusted with herself. I thought she might want revenge, so I just had to ask. But if she doesn’t want to be here and see this, then that is her choice, and it is probably the best choice for her. I want her to stay away from all things concerning erotica. I want her to get better and live her life and the only way she can do that is if she stays away from all of this nonsense. I just want to kill Veronica and Adrian and get this over and done with.
