Chapter 23. Finding the Middle Man

DANTE’S POV

“Two weeks, Adeline. Give me two weeks, and I’ll be back in town to save you from your evil parents. Can you stall them until I get back?”

I speak into my phone’s mic while simultaneously typing out codes into my computer. I’m close to finding out middle man but he sure knows how to hide himself and I can’t go back to New York without finding him. If I abandon this now, I’ll never get the chance again and it’ll be back to square one for me. I need to find him and get the necessary information I need before going back to Adeline.

I still hate myself so much for what I did to her, and I can’t wait to get back home so I can hold her in my arms and tell her how much I miss her.
