DANTE’S POV

I don’t know if I want to pay a visit to Adrian today or not. I can just go to his office and beat the shit out of him because it’s been three days since I saw his bodyguard following Adeline and me, and he hasn’t stopped since. Adeline, of course, hasn’t noticed it, and I’m not willing to tell her because all it’ll do is make her worry.

I have no idea if this bodyguard of Adrian has been following my Adeline up and down when I’m not close to her at her workplace, and I can’t exactly follow her around the entire city of New York because then she’ll start asking questions. Adrian hasn’t given me any reason to believe he wants to hurt Adeline, but the guy works for a sex traf***king organization for crying out loud.

I still have no idea what he’s really capable of, but if he’s willing to put all his money into the kidnap and torture of innocent girls, if he’s willing to send people to break into my home and try to kill me, that means the
