Chapter 59. Racist

ADELINE’S POV

Dante and I decided to cut down on how much we see each other and when I told him about Adrian wanting me to move in, to say he was furious would be an understatement, but after explaining to him my reasons, he quickly understood. Although I think the main reason Dante is even letting me do all of these is because he genuinely trusts me.

Because no matter how good my reasons are, if there was no trust in our relationship, he would have never even let me push through with my plan to begin with. He trusts me as much as I trust him. He’s literally my ride or die. The real reason I want to stay at Adrian’s though is because I want to snoop. I think it’ll be easier for me to discover all the skeletons he has in his closet if I’m closer to him.

I don’t know when I became a superspy but I guess my life has been boring for so long that I’m looking for any excuse at an adventure. I don’t expect Dante or even anyone to understand me. These are my feeling
