Chapter 74. Sinister

DANTE’S POV

As much as I want to torture the fool in front of me, I cannot. I glare at Adrian with the most menacing and evil expression I’ve ever put on and I’m holding myself back from doing to him all that I am thinking. Liam stands next to me, moving from side to side and trembling, but I get it. He’s never been in this kind of situation before, but I don’t have time to babysit him.

I don’t have time to worry about his feelings, so he’s going to have to suck it up. He’s going to have to stomach everything that might happen in this room.

“It’s been almost 24 hours, Dante,” Liam states the obvious.

“I know,” I say.

“We’re wasting time,” Liam says.

“You’re actually wasting your time with me. Kill me now and get it over with. You’ll never find Adeline. By now, they know my house has been raided, and I’ve been compromised, so even if I wanted to tell you where Adeline is, I can’t. They’re probably taking her to an entirely different location
