Chapter 90. Let the Games Begin

ADELINE’S POV

I didn’t eat dinner last night. Well at least technically I didn’t. As per the rules, we’re all supposed to have dinner in our bedrooms where the cameras are visible. I don’t know why Veronica doesn’t just make us eat together. Colton said that is what is normally done and that veronica is just testing our loyalty. She wants to see if one of us well try to steal and hide a spoon or a fork to use as a weapon.

He says after a few days, she’ll start making us eat together again. I guess Veronica is crazy like that. I don’t know if any of the others know that they put d***s in our food. But then again, what other option do we have than to eat the food they give us It’s? Either that or starve to death, and then I start thinking.

Colton says the d**g makes you lose your strength slowly over time, and he says it messes with your head. But if I eat nothing but breakfast, I’ll still lose strength and possibly even be weaker. I’m conflicted. I’m trapped.
