Lamia was still unconscious and the stress of her injury and weakness was affecting everyone. I loved that girl deeply, as much as my own child and would give anything for her, as would my son. A sense of pride had washed through me when I was told how she took out a bear shifter single-handedly and in human form! We were astounded.
