Chapter 105. Channel Me to Level Up!

Two days are gone, no sign of Max. Helen is beginning to feel restless. There’s no amount of spells she has not tried from her spell book. She has not tasted any food in days.

           “Give yourself a break and rest for a while,” Meliae said.

           Meliae has been in Max’s apartment for the last two days hoping that Helen could find a way to locate him. Instead, Helen is starving herself and only focusing on getting Max back.

           “I will eat when he returns,” Helen muttered.

           She has been seated in a state of meditation before Meliae interrupted her. Lisa tried reaching out to her yesterday but she shuts her out. Helen blames Lisa for her missing husband. Things would have been a bit different if Lisa told them she has an evil twin sister.
