Chapter 17. Level Up: Demon's Field

“Tell me this is one of Jasmine’s people,” said Philip.

“He is not,” Max replied.

“Who the hell is he then?” Philip asked sternly as his hands began to shake together with his legs.

“His name is Belius,” Max replied. “One of the chief demons after Lucifer,” Max added.

“Fuck you, Max, I got nothing to do with Lucifer, get my ass out of here,” Philip screamed. “He’s coming towards Max, run him over,” Philip added.

“Make my day,” said Max as he accelerated, running Belius over.

“Oh my goodness!” Philip exclaimed. “Tell me he is dead,” said Philip as he looked through the rear mirror.

“I have unfinished business with him,” said Max.

“That’s not my damn business, just get my ass as far as you can then you can handle your business with him later,” said Philip.

Parking in front of Philip’s house, Max slammed the door open as he walked into Philip’s apartment, “Dude, what are you looking for?” Philip asked as he ran after Max.
