The banging continued as Philip began to shake in fear.

“Chill bro!” said Max as he noticed his friend’s great fear.

“Take your girlfriend to the guest room. Whatever happens, don’t come out,” said Max as he approached the entrance door with Jasmine, preparing for a fight.

On opening the door, to their relief it was only Mr. Lewis, Max’s neighbor.

“Your goddamn pipe is leaking and splashing water in my yard,” said Mr. Lewis, frowning at Max.

“Couldn’t you wait till morning?” Max replied, glaring at Mr. Lewis.

“You gotta fix it now or someone is gonna have a hard time sleeping,” Mr. Lewis replied.

“How in the hell do you want me to fix that without a plumber?” Max asked, giving Mr. Lewis a funny look.
