Chapter 44. Disturbed
Annabelle’s POV
As I left the room, I received a phone call from my lawyer, Mr. Henry Campbell. It immediately reminded me of my inheritance. I was so busy with Stefan for the last few days that I forgot to contact Mr. Campbell.
“Annabelle, Campbell, here! Are you free to talk? It’s important,” he said in a grave tone. Of course, I knew what he wanted to talk about.
“Yes, Mr. Campbell. Tell me.” “You are aware your grandfather has left you a fund which is to be transferred to you on your 22nd birthday. I wish to inform you, I will no longer be looking after your finances. I will transfer everything under your sole responsibility,” he informed me. I sighed at the other end.
