Chapter 44. Wrong Choice

We get in, and Marco looks at his phone. He seems to checking something, then he laughs slightly.

"We got a location for Danni five minutes from here," he announces, and I can see he is surprised by how quickly and easily he got the information.

"Then let's go." I look at my phone. Tracking shows she is still with her parents. She's safe and I want to ensure we get Danni then I know even more she is safe.

"And Alice?" he asks, looking at me briefly before going back to his phone.

"She's at her parents, I can see. I would rather get Danni now than leave and miss the chance. He will know where Rocco is." That's fucking important. I watch him nod and speak to the driver.

Five minutes later, the car stops, and we look around. He's not here. He said he was here, but he's not. I look towards Marco, why would his tracking show he is here if he wasn't?
