Chapter 45. Unexpected

I open the car door and step in. Part of me is hoping that this isn't Jacob, but who else would it be? Closing the door, I hear it lock and look up. My heart stops when I see Danni smiling at me. Turning, I try the door, but it won't open. Had I known it was Danni I wouldn't have agreed, he can't get to Luciano, even I know that he hasn't got the power, money or connections to do anything.
