Chapter 64. Showing Them
I'm confused over what is happening, and I'm still unsure of why I'm here.
“A little boy, he’s six. Called Alex, his dad is a drunk and beats him.” My heart cracks. “Used to, I’m hoping it’s stopped.” Kissing me, he guides me to sit down.
"What is happening with him?" I ask, genuinely curious and worried.
"We're watching the situation, Jasmine is also involved, she got involved through the school. Together we can sort it, he just needs protecting that's all." He smiles at me, and I nod.
"But, he's okay right?" I don't know why I'm so worry for the boy, but I am, and I haven't even met him.
"Sure is little kitten, now let me go see the kids, I will come back and get you soon." Kissing me he walks away. I watch, and I’m amazed to see this side of Lorenzo.
