Chapter 71. The News

I wanted her to myself tonight, and that failed. Part of me hates Marco for this party. I get he's trying to show he agrees with the engagement, but I wanted her to myself.

I've barely spent time with her. Which I fucking hate. Tonight, I wanted to talk to her, figure out the wedding. Then actually clear up all the issues we faced, I just wanted one night without anyone else there, where she would hopefully open up more and talk to me. I tried to leave, and Marco told me to stay longer. So I continued to walk around our engagement party, and ended up spending more time with random guests who I couldn't care about than her. 

Our own engagement party and we barely even see each other at it. Then, I finally got Marco's agreement that I could leave, and now Lucia has taken Alice from me. Like they are purposely trying to torture me and keep us away from each other.
