Chapter 91. Wedding

I look up seeing Evaline. I don't agree with him kidnapping her, but I will stay quiet until after the wedding. She also doesn't look too fussed about being kidnapped, either.

Dario is unusually quiet; his eyes stay down, and I feel it's because he is worried he scared Alice. I nudge her and nod to him. She turns and looks at him.

"I'm fine, Dario." He looks at her. "More than fine, don't worry." I watch her hug him, and he relaxes.

"Thanks, little sis." He grins and returns to eating, but he isn't hiding away as much now. I get it, though. He fears what people will think of him, especially in his moments of madness.

My day disappears, every moment spent with Alice and Luciano, except when her parents come. Then, I stole her away again and insisted everyone leave us alone. I don't get to sleep with her tonight, so I'm keeping her all day.
