"Little sis." I glance up to see Dario walking over. He pulls a seat next to me. "He will understand, right now he's just running on emotion."

They all heard. "You guys are all pro-life." Even I know that.

"We are family first. To us, a two-week pregnancy, is a baby, it's our family. Marco wouldn't walk you know, if it turned out you did get pregnant to Arlo, he would stick around and raise it as his own."

"It's not about that." I know Marco wouldn't turn us away.

"No, it's the fear of how you feel." He smiles slightly. "The baby will still be yours, even if it was conceived in such a vicious way." He sighs and glances at the door. "I don't think Arlo's plan was to get you pregnant purely to get his bloodline into the Cosa Nostra. I think he knew you wouldn't want the risk."

"So?" That just means he knows his plan will fail.

"So, look around you, Lucia, he is winning. He knows Marco's stand on pregnancy, babies and all that. H
