Prologue (2)

Calix took her hand in his and led her to the bar's exit, and everyone gasped in astonishment upon seeing them. There was already a clear favorite. Even without doing anything but just staring at each other, they were able to capture one another's interest. Those who wanted that spot with the pair ended up wearing scowls and displeasure on their faces. Many others have tried, but none have succeeded. Tonight's star is made for the vixen. 

Calix made it known to his buddies that he was departing, and all they could do was acquiesce and feel envious. He once again got the hottest and loveliest one. They can't really blame him; Calix is a handsome devil, and they're well cognizant of that. They can never compete with him at all. 

Calix couldn't help but be alarmed when several men blocked their way to the exit. All of those in front of them are large, muscular men, and he's not certain if they're after the woman he is with. But he refused to give her up to them. He won't allow them to have her. Whatever happens, she's his for the night. 

Kaira arched her eyebrows at the men in an instant, not showing any hint of fear but of sheer disbelief and frustration. After that gesture from her, they were given permission to pass, as if on cue. He looked at her with a questioning glance, but she responded with a careless shrug of her shoulders. She did the honor of guiding him outdoors when he didn't move. 

"What was that?" He couldn't help but inquire. 

"What was what again? There was nothing to discuss. It was nothing. Stop asking questions and let's get going." She said sternly, causing him to shrug his shoulders and walk towards where his car will be brought. 

Calix was ecstatic as to what was going to happen as he waited for the valet to bring his car. Both of them remained speechless as they waited, but Kaira came to a complete halt when she saw the exquisite race car parked in front of her. 

"Are you liking it?" he asked. 

"You're a racer." she declared flatly. 

He murmured in her ear, "Yeah, and I'll definitely drive you crazy and hot tonight." 

He guided her inside the car, and he just could not suppress his enthusiasm as he accelerated all the way through his penthouse. Despite the fact that he is used to having to spend his nights with the woman of his choice, this one was unanticipated. He is currently with a different woman tonight. They haven't traded names, and he has no intention of doing so; he merely fucks and disappears, so there's no need for names, but he has a feeling that this woman will be an entirely new experience for him. 

Calix couldn't help but stare at Kaira as she sauntered up in front of him when they arrived at his residence. He simply cannot help but be stimulated and feels so aroused just by gazing at the woman in front of him, who is really stunning and exquisite. He can't wait to devour her and reveal who Calix is inside the bedroom. He'll undoubtedly show her his driving talents while driving her insane with passion, lust, and need. 

He shoved Kaira against the wall and kissed her ferociously as soon as they entered the elevator. He could not wait to taste her, and when their lips came together, lust overwhelmed them both. Those kisses were absolutely necessary for them to do, and they were needy with desire. They do not really mind whether they're still in the lift because their desire for each other is so strong and they both have their pent-up longing for one another. As they continue to kiss, their hands wander around each other's bodies, triggering more and more pleasure and igniting more and more carnal desires. 

He enthusiastically guided her out of the elevator as it dinged to signal their floor. He's had enough with the waiting game. He needs to be with her, to be inside of her. 

And that night that they shared was something both of them would never forget. It may be an evening of unadulterated lust, but it will definitely leave them wanting for more. 

Calix shifted beside Kaira, so she immediately opened her eyes to check if he was awake. When she notices he is still asleep, she carefully withdraws his draped arm from her waist and gives him another glimpse. It's time for her to leave, just as she usually does. He is no exception to the rule. No names, just the experience. She quickly picked up her clothes and slipped them on, all the while focusing her full attention on him. She had an unforgettable, amorous night with this man. A night she may never be able to forget. 

She took a deep breath, hesitated for a moment, crouched down, and kissed him on the cheek. She never does things like this after a one-night stand, but it's different with him. Even though she realizes he's the biggest flirt, she can't help but notice the difference between him and the other men she's spent the night with before. And this person will go on to become a beautiful memory of her. 

When she leaves, she knows they will never see each other again. And it is probably for the best. He seems to have a good future ahead of him. And she doesn't want him to be tainted by her cruel life. Again, as it is, it should only be just one night of lust. 

When her phone alerted, she peeked in to see a message from Enzo, another profound indication that she needed to leave him. And yet, one more glimpse at the man before leaving the room. And then she was gone for good in his life. In her treacherous life, the one night with him, fueled by lust and passion, will be her saving grace. 

Calix shifted from the bed and opened his eyes as the woman exited through the door. The kiss she gave him moved him. And no matter how badly he wants to follow her, exchange names with her, and meet her again, he knows he can't. Her life is so much better without him. He cannot drag her down in the dirt of his uncertain existence because she appears to have a bright future ahead of her. He closed his eyes once more and thought about the lovely woman he had spent the night with. His recollection of her has been ingrained in his mind, and he will forever hold that memory as his only hope for his salvation.
