Chapter 30. The Palace Treat

The lovely sight of my garden enthralled me. This garden was planted upon my request to my father, when I was really young.

"Papa?"

"Yes darling?"

"I want a garden beside my room."

"Why do you want another garden beside your room, sweetness? Didn't papa do a good job with the one we have?"

"N-no! It's very good! But... big... and insects..."

"I get it now. Carlos! Bring the gardner to the throne. We have something to discuss."

The gardener arrives, bowing to the King and the Princess who was me.

"My little bundle of sunshine here wants her own little garden. Do as she wishes."

"Certainly, your highness. Little majesty, please follow me." And I go, to decide a Sakura in the middle of the garden and a bench under it. There was a street lamp too, as I requested. Yellow and glowing like a firefly in the middle of the night for my childhood fantasies.

I often enacted a lot of Disney characters here... all by myself.
