Chapter 34. My Resolve

I say my goodbyes to the sweet young man and begin to leave to the palace at around midnight. The cat even begs me to stay with her, but I need to go back and not trouble my family anymore.

As I walk up the citadel, ruining the back my dress with splutter of the mud as I walked, I see the guards running inside seeing me. They must have gone to inform the royals of my arrival.
