Chapter 70. Behind My Back

My insecurities and screaming with this act. And I would love to be the last person to discover that she's doing something speculative behind my own back.

A shaky breath escapes from my lips. Soon, Ravine enters the house with a dull face. I ask her what's up, but she ignores me and leaves me to ponder. She heads to the bedroom as I roll my tongue inside my cheek. 

Who was that person? Is she really selling out information or is she trying to protect me from things again? Like Mr. Brown?

Oh, this is getting too frustrating!

Switching the TV off mid-series, I throw the remote on the couch and race behind her. She was yet to enter the room and pretend to sleep, but I caught her arm and spun her around on the step.

"Whoa! What happened!?" She shouts at me. It was as if she doesn't love me anymore. She never shouts at me for things like these.

Taken aback, she looks at me with guilty eyes as i release her arm from my grip.

"Where'd you go?"
