Chapter 65. It's Alright
Ravine sat on the stairs, crying her heart as she held her face in her palms. He shouldn't have left the laptop home, he said to himself. He blamed him for the misfortune.
He had no place else to go than to his own beat friend's house. He reaches the place in under fifteen minutes with his stride walking. He knocks on the door, he was received by Jack who welcomes him, but the words don't come out completely.
"Oh, Hi Aaron — Whoa, what happened boy?" He was mixing something in his hand with a whisker when he sees Aaron's tired, gloomy and tear stricken face. "Is Jasmine home?" He asks in his cracking voice.
"Yes, she is in the bedroom. Go." Moving to the side, he allows the boy to run towards Jasmine as he cries loudly. Concerned, Jasmine's heart beat increased.
