I breathe a sigh of relief as the ceremony finishes. Everyone congratulates Lindsey, Bethany, and Zack while they mull around in the bunker’s small room. With one command, Blake has broken the three’s connection to his pack. The growing issues with my fathers has involved the elders from all the packs, who agree the connections need to be broken at the same time. This will only buy us some time, but not much. I’m sure my father will soon find out three people instead of one have left the pack and that one of them is Zack.

I wish there is a way for us to stay in this little bubble longer. I would call it bliss, but we are still working and investigating the issues with Yellow Moon. When we aren’t working on solving issues, we are wrapped in each other's arms and make love into the night.
