Chapter 20

The meeting place was at the front of the flower shop that same day. Everyone - Evan, Reed, Adam, Emerald, Chloe, Sophia, Phoebe, Jim, Tyler, Bianca, Sam, Flora, Alex, and Jack stood formed a circle. Evan stepped into the middle to address everyone.

“I know we started on the wrong foot and I know that it’s not real to let go of the past but I want to appeal to every one of you,” he said, looking at everyone, “this victory wouldn’t have been possible if we didn’t work together. We could attain this greater height because of our cooperation and I know there’s a lot more we can do if we work together.” 

He paused, trying to see if he got everyone’s attention. 

“Now the question is this, do we still want to work together, or should we both go our separate ways?” he asked.

Everyone studied each other. Reed decided to speak for his team since whatever he decides, no one objects
