“We’re at the right place. The ghouls are here,” Sasha whispers as she quickly pulled out a plastic bottle then she began pouring the content. The content was a shiny powder; she was tracing a thick line along the graveyard.
“What is that?” James asked with curiosity.
Sasha replied, “It’s a mixed silver dust and salt.” She continued tracing the line all along the boundary of the graveyard with James following her quietly.
Silver dust and salt are often used by hunters to repel supernatural creatures. In most cases, only salt may be loaded into a shotgun cartridge and fired at a supernatural creature, forcing it to dissipate harmlessly for a short time. However, it does not destroy the supernatural creature.
At the early stage of Sasha’s hunting life, she has often used salt to stop ghosts and demons in her room by spilling a line of it in front of all the entry points, like windows or doors. Salt can be spilled into a circle around a victim to create an area
