Chapter 20. Lost Memory

As James turned, there was no sign of Enzo. He’s gone. He yelled out for him but there was no response. The only thing he heard was sounds of flowing river, branches creaking, wind whistling around the leaves and the birds singing.

Something seems off about this moment. He feels blank as if he’s losing his memories. He tried to recall the name of the lady that saved him from warlocks, but he can’t. At this time, he realized the mysterious lady did not just strip him of his wolf nature but his memory too.

Fractions of memories he shared with Enzo at the arena is already fading away. He tried keeping it alive to be able to find the only friend he has shared his story with-the friend he thought that would help him remember what he has forgotten.
