Chapter 245. Alliance

At least Jane was relieved on hearing this. There are still alive. However, Afi didn’t want to risk all the shifters in this fight with the hunters. Even the alpha shifter isn’t here. When Afi is no more, the alpha shifter is meant to protect and lead the rest of the shifters.

“Very well then, at least they will be enough room for us all.” Jane puts up a smile. The castle has many quarters although won’t be enough for each person. But this means that four persons can share a chamber.

The shifters were all putting up appearances of people unknown to Jane or anyone from her pack. Mike was assigned to show the shifters their quarters and have them rest for the day. As he was about to lead Afi down the hallway, Mel and Ruby approaches.

They both frowned their faces letting Afi see they are not happy with her since the incident in Texas.

“Look ladies, we should all forget the past and move on. We have a target on…”
