Chapter 99. Enraged Elder

“Good idea!” the Baroness quickly led the way to the graveyard where her mother was buried.

As they got to the graveyard where the late Baroness was buried, they realized the grave have been dug and her corpse was nowhere to be found. “Someone doesn’t want us to burn her corpse,” said James.

“What do we do now?” asked Baroness Lacey with her eyes fixed on the healer.

“Without the corpse, we can’t send her back to the Empty.”

“Fuck! This shit is getting nastier,” James kicked against the tombstone.

“Shhh! We are not alone,” said the Baroness. She could pick up a heartbeat besides the one of James and the healer. Someone else is there with them. She fixed her eyes towards another tombstone some few paces away from them. She believed that’s where she’s hearing the heartbeat. “Whoever you are come out now, I command you!”

Ramsey slowly stood to his feet with his hand behind him.
