A deep frown graced his face as he wiped away her tears, taking a deep breath before he slid his arms around her waist.

“If you know how loved you are, what the fuck do you have to be afraid of?” he asked, trying to keep the edge out of his voice.

“My turn to ask the questions,” said Keira, willing herself to stay put for this part.
