Keira thought about the last few days, about their time in Imperium and all her discussions with Aaron about their life together once they left. Imperium didn’t make her miserable anymore. He made anywhere feel okay to be, even the home she left behind because she felt like she had to regain her soul, to get out from under Madz’s thumb.
