Chapter 50
Theme: Trouble with the gods, 3
Poseidon slammed his trident to the ground, and it emitted bright light just like it did when he struck a rock with it to create the very first horse, Skyphos.
It occurred during the Gigantomachy War which was led by Polybotes. It's a fierce battle between the gods and their enemies. The gods didn't have the chance to cross the bridge of Seth because of the land trap, forcing Poseidon to create Skyphos.
After Poseidon created the horse, he used his trident to break off a piece of the island Kos, under which he subsequently entombed the Giant Polybotes. This piece became Nisyros until now.
Ares swerved back a little, giving space for Poseidon to face Artemis and his brother, Apollo. He could now see the reason why Poseidon is the violent and ill-tempered god of the sea.
He was also feared as the provoker of earthquakes and worshipped as the creator of the horse
