“Yes, my Lord,” Bernard answered.
“Your lawyer, when making your case, said that you are totally against any dissolution of marriage with your wife, and your wife, on the other hand, according to her lawyer, seemed adamant about getting a divorce.” She looked down at the file in front of her in the judge’s box as she said, “Though I can see clearly here that your union has just been a matter of months, your wife seemed to have a strong conviction that you cheated on her, something on which this court strongly frowned. What do you have to say to that? Why do you think I shouldn’t separate you two even though your wife, being the complainant, strongly felt otherwise?”
“Thank you very much, Your Honor. I appreciate the opportunity given to me. I do not want a divorce, Your Honor
